BAND PERSONNEL
ED ZELENAK, electric piano/vocal, is the leader and emcee. He is a City Attorney in the Downriver area and is Honorary Consulate for the Slovak Republic.
DAVE ZELENAK (aka “Little Davy”), tenor sax/vocal, is a District Court Judge in the Detroit area.
PATRICK ZELENAK, drums/vocal, graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Industry Management.
CASS DUFRIN,vocals/acoustic guitar. She has been performing around the U.S. since the 70’s both as a soloist and as an accompanying musician.
JOE PODORSEK, guitar/banjo/vocal. A studio musician from the Motown Era, he now operates his own vacuum sales and rental business.
TEDDY BLAKENSHIP, upright/electric bass, has performed with the Grand Ol’ Opry in Nashville. He currently records and produces Blue Grass music in his own recording studio.
DAVE DeCLARK, trumpet/vocal, is a retired music educator in the Belleville School District, and frequently performs with the band “The Contours.”
JIM PRESCOTT, tenor sax/vocal. A former doo-wop musician and member of the band “The Showcasemen,” he has been performing in the music industry for over 35 years.
MIKE JONES, clarinet/alto sax, graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in music composition at. He is an ophthalmic technologist at an Eye Care Center in the downriver area.
DAVIS GLOFF lead vocal, piano. A classically trained musicians, has performed with the Michigan Opera Theatre and several Detroit Theatre Companys. He is also an announcer for Detroit Classical Radio.
